“Sir Bramble's Gotcha Day”

Ba da ba, it's Gotcha Day

I was scared of stairs and the hoover's roar

Now I sleep on my back with my legs at the door

Christmas twenty twenty four, I won't tell you a lie

I swiped a roast chicken and I'd do it twice

Three years since you got me, baby

Best day of my life

Why it's not a video card

Video cards are boring. We make films.

An e-card or video card is one template sent to thousands of people. A Singer is a world premiere with one person in the audience. Here's one, and where every bit of it came from.

Poster for the example film Mr Pickle Pants

One night only · Janine's birthday

😭 May cause happy crying

Mr Pickle
Pants

“It wasn't me, Janine.”

Starring Janine as herself · Introducing Pickle as Mr Pickle Pants · with Rob as the one who points · Original song in 1950s doo-wop · Filmed on location Shaw Road, Stockport · Based on a true story

Every line on that poster came from one order form

Starring

Janine as herself

Your photos become the cast. Mum, the lads, Nan. Same face, same hair, same cardigan, animated like a film.

And introducing

Pickle on lead vocals

Anyone can sing it. The dog, the baby, the cat that hates everyone. Pickle sings this whole song.

Based on a true story

The sausage roll in the car park

Your in-jokes, sung out loud. Nicknames, habits, the stories only your lot know. Tell us and they're in the lyrics.

Filmed on location

Shaw Road, Stockport

Set in their world. Their street, their local, their sofa. Add photos of the place and we set the scene there.

Original song

1950s doo-wop (or 17 other styles)

Written from scratch, never a template. Pop, rap, country, musical theatre, opera. Or tap Surprise me.

Rated

HC for happy crying

You pick the feeling. Full roast, big laughs or proper tears. Built for the bit where they lose it on camera.

~~E-card.~~ ~~Video card.~~ ~~Face swap.~~ Everyone else sends a template. You send the premiere.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still wondering? Ask Belter in the chat, or email hello@unwrapasong.com.

What do I actually get?

An original song written about the person you choose, performed by animated film style characters made from your photos. You get a private watch page plus an MP4 download (vertical 9:16 for phones). Add square and landscape versions if you want it on a big screen.

Is the song really original?

Yes. Every song is written for your order from the story you give us. No templates, no name swaps. We produce songs and animation with professional creative software, and a real person checks every video before it's sent.

How long can it be?

Four lengths: The Jingle (30 seconds, $30), The Single (60 seconds, $50), The Hit (90 seconds, $75) and The Encore (3 minutes, $99). 60 seconds fits about two verses and a chorus.

Which music styles can I pick?

Pop, rap, country, jive and swing, rock, Motown and soul, R&B, musical theatre, 80s synth pop, Britpop and indie, gospel, acoustic ballad, EDM, reggae, lullaby, opera and big band. Each occasion suggests the styles that suit it best.

What photos work best?

One clear photo of each face. Any phone photo is fine: good light, face visible, no sunglasses. Group photos work too if you tell us who is who. If a photo won't work we'll ask for another within a few hours.

How many people can be in it?

Up to 6 characters. Two are included in the price, each extra character is $9.

Can I add photos after I order?

Yes. Pick 'Send photos later' and we'll email you an upload link. The clock starts when the photos land.

Can you say their name right?

Add a pronunciation note next to any name, for example 'Siobhan, say shiv AWN', and we'll get it right.

Are my photos safe?

Your photos are only used to make your video. They're stored privately and deleted 90 days after delivery. We never use your photos or video in our marketing without asking first.

How fast is it?

Standard is within 72 hours and free. Rush is within 24 hours for $15. Right Now is under 2 hours for $29, for when you forgot, and is sent as the final cut with no preview step. Delivery times start once we have your photos.

How do I get it?

By email. You get a link to a private watch page where you can play it, download it and share it. You can also ask us to send it straight to them on a date you choose.

Can you send it to them on the day?

Yes. At checkout choose 'Send it to them directly', add their email and the date, and we'll deliver it that morning. We'll always email you a copy too.
