Terms of service

These terms apply when you order from unwrapasong.com. Unwrap a Song is run by Sophie Chestnut Ltd (company number 15588183, 26 - 28 Southernhay East, Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom, EX1 1NS), registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What we make

A Singer is a personalised digital video: an original song written from the details you give us, performed by animated characters based on the photos you upload. It is delivered digitally by email and a private watch link. Nothing is posted.

2. Your order

• Prices are shown in pounds (GBP) in the UK, Australian dollars (AUD) in Australia, Canadian dollars (CAD) in Canada and US dollars (USD) everywhere else, and include everything listed at checkout. You pay in the currency shown at checkout. If that isn't your card's currency, your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees.
• Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and we email your order number.
• Delivery times (72 hours, 24 hours, under 2 hours) start when we have everything we need, including photos. They are targets we work hard to hit. If we miss a paid delivery speed, we refund the speed upgrade.
• If you accept a one click offer after checkout, we charge the payment method you just used for that amount, with your agreement at the time.

3. What you send us

• You confirm you have permission to use every photo and every name you send, and that the people in the photos would be happy to appear in the video.
• Don't send anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, harassing or designed to embarrass or harm someone. We can refuse or cancel any order that breaks this rule and refund you.
• We don't make videos impersonating celebrities, public figures or real singers.

4. Who owns what

You own your photos. Once paid, you may use your Singer for any personal, non commercial purpose: share it, post it, play it at events. We keep the rights in the song and animation so that we can deliver, store and (only with your permission) show it as an example. We never use your video in marketing without asking first.

5. Changes, fixes and refunds

You can change your story until we start writing. Standard and Rush orders come with a private preview: you can ask for changes to any scene, free and as often as you like, plus one lyric or name change, and the video is final once you approve it (or 3 days after the preview if we don't hear from you). Right Now orders are delivered final with no preview or revisions, except that we fix genuine mistakes on our side free. Full details in our refund policy.

6. Digital content and your cancellation rights

Each Singer is made to your personal specification and production starts straight after you order. By ordering you ask us to start immediately and you acknowledge that the 14 day cancellation right for digital content ends once production begins. This does not affect your statutory rights if the video is faulty or not as described.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere you keep the protections of your local consumer law.
